Our ballpoint pen released by Araki F machine in March, MechaSEA.

The cycle of this project is as follows.
I do interesting things in the site and PR a ballpoint pen.

So I do the custom of a motorcycle doing in us to have a person reading blog enjoy it.
I think I want to publish useful know-how and data.

Yesterday, as part of that, I published a 3D drawing of a 12 inch wheel on my blog with 3DPDF.
But there was a better way.

There is a site like Youtube of 3D model called Sketchfab.
When uploading to that site I found that I can embed it in a blog rotatable state.

I did not notice until I cut the section, but Mr. Kikawa also draws the thickness of the tire in real.

To try it, I also paste the crank of KSR110.

Make a Bimota SB6 Replica from Suzuki GAG. Design of the body of the motorcycle.

Last time, we generated the 3D model of the frame of Bimota SB6 with the photograph of multiple from ReMake of Autodesk.

The model is data that is connected with a lot of points.
So, I adjusted it with CAD.
This is the one before adjustment with CAD.

Next, we deform to the size of GAG.
If I just change only a reduced scale, the place where humans ride will disappear.
So it is deformation.

We will shape from tires and wheels.
This is already keeping customer-supplied product.
So, we will generate a 3D drawing of it.
And we decided to create a drawing of 3D of the frame while looking at the balance in a tire criterion.

We will use OVER’s 12 inch wheels.
OVER seems to do custom order correspondence.
So this time it is W disk specification.

We measure parts where dimensions are important, such as external form, rim width, width of bearing contact surface.
Next, I infer a pattern-like part from a photograph and draw a drawing.
(the part which does not need to mind dimensions)
This seems to be a technique that Mr. Kikawa often does when making a plastic model.
If there are a photograph of the beside and the photograph of the front, we can make 3D model with the dimensions that are near to the real thing.

The picture of this level is all right if I only look an image.↓
But, when I looked at the completed 3D drawing, it was all drawn in real.
I can understand that feeling.

Because it is 3DPDF, download it to your computer once.
And, if you select (trust) with Acrobat Reader option ↓, you can rotate it and see it.

On smartphones you can not see it unless you download 3DPDF Reader.

The representative motorcycle model of the 12-inch racer is NSF100.
Here is what overlaid with the photograph of NSF100 ↓

As well as genuine SB6, it is a frame that covers the engine.
The frame of the SB6 is in a very low place.

About the design method of the hanging angle of a caster or the swing arm, there is no know-how that much.
So, I will make the dimension the same as NSF 100 unless there is a special reason.
